Who operates this bot
Desdemona is a private Discord bot operated by Christopher Allbritton for personal use in select Discord servers. It is not publicly listed or distributed.
Data collected
Desdemona may process the following data solely to respond to commands and perform its functions:
- Discord user IDs and usernames
- Message content directed at the bot (commands and queries)
- Server and channel IDs where the bot operates
No data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
Data retention
Message content is processed in real time and not stored persistently beyond what is necessary for the bot to function in a given session. Logs, if any, are retained on private infrastructure controlled by the operator and deleted when no longer needed.
Third-party services
Desdemona may use AI model APIs (such as Anthropic's Claude) to generate responses. Data sent to these services is governed by their respective privacy policies. No personally identifiable information beyond what Discord transmits is deliberately sent.
